Contoh Teks How To Make Something

1. A Marvellous  Motor Car
·         YOU’LL NEED        :
Two clean and dry juice or milk boxes, some thin, flexible wire, four matching plastic bottle caps, modelling clay, scissors, a magic marker, sellotape, and paint.
1.      Draw the front and the windows of your car on one of the empty boxes.
2.      Cut along the lines you have drawn. Ask an adult for help, if you need to.
3.      To complete the front of the car, cut out the side of the second box. Then fold it and attach it to the front opening with sellotape.
4.      Cut open the front window from the piece you have just attached.
5.      Make a hole in the centre of each of the four caps. (Ask an adult for help, if you need to.)
6.      Paint the car with your favourite colour. Make two small holes near the bottom of each side, for the wires that will hold the wheels together.
7.      Run a piece of wire through a cap, then through two facing holes on the car’s sides. Place another cap on the other end of the wire. Do the same for the other two wheels. Cover the wire ends with little balls of modelling clay.
8.      Step on the gas! Ride ahead!.
Use your imagination: You can use juices boxes or milk containers to make all sorts of vehicles. Try to making a train with small bottle caps, a bus with medium-size caps, or use really big bottle caps to make a tractor!

2. An Egg-Cellent Crocodile
·         YOU’LL NEED:
The top of container for a dozen eggs, both parts of a container for half a dozen eggs, four empty toilet paper rolls, green, black, and white paint, red or pink chart paper, a needle with thread or string, glue, sellotape, and varnish (optional).
1.      Paint all the egg containers and rolls green. When the green has dried, paint while nails on the four rolls, which will be the legs. When the paint dries, you can varnish the rolls, if you like.
2.      With a needle and thread or string, tie together the two parts of the smaller container to form the head. You may want to ask an adult for help.
3.      Glue the body to the head and paint the eyes and the nostrils. Varnish the whole piece, if you like.
4.      Glue the top edges of the legs to spaces on the underside of the body.
5.      On red chart paper, draw and cut out the tongue. Attach it to the creature’s mouth with sellotape.
6.      Use a piece of unpainted egg container to make eyelashes. Glue them over the eyes.
7.      Now you have an egg-Cellent new pet!
Use your imagination: Make some baby crocodiles with the smaller containers. Then draw or paint a ‘swampy’ scene to use as a background!

3. A Perfect Personal Organiser
·         YOU’LL NEED:
Various-sized empty matchboxes, bobby pins, buttons, coloured sellotape or coloured chart paper, various paints, and glue. Note: An adult will need wire cutters or pruning shears.
1.      Paint the inner parts of the matchboxes in different colours. Let the paint dry completely.
2.      Use coloured sellotape or glue chart paper to line the matchbox sides. Then paint the entire exterior of the boxes.
3.      Find buttons of different colours and sizes. Have an adult use wire cutters to cut off the closed end of several bobby pins. Insert the bobby pins into the buttonholes. You can also use twist-ties, if you prefer.
4.      Make two little holes in each box. Pass the ends of a bobby pin through the holes. Have an adult twist the ends of the pin to secure the buttons.
5.      You can mount and glue the boxes one on top of the other, as you like.
6.      Now you’re ready to store all your small treasures!
Use your imagination: You can make bigger organizers with bigger matchboxes. You can also decorate your organizers with stickers for a really cool look!

4. A FotoFish Fun Frame
·         YOU’LL NEED:
A Styrofoam tray, coloured tissue paper, any photograph, glue stick and varnish.
1.      Draw the fish on the tray and cut it out. The fish should be a little smaller than the photograph you want to frame.
2.      Cut the different coloured tissue paper into little pieces.
3.      Using a glue stick, glue the pieces of tissue paper to the tray so that they overlap a little.
4.       Also cover the fish cut-out,which will serve as the frame’s stand.
5.      After you have covered the frame and the fish, varnish both.
6.      Let the pieces dry, then glue the fish cut-out to the back and use it to hold up the frame.
7.      Attach the photo to the back of the frame with sellotape. Pretty fishy, isn’t it?
Use your imagination: You can nut out any kind of shape to make your frame. Try a star, a sun, or a flower, or make many smaller openings for a multi-photo frame.
